Mme Deborah Constable

Welcome to École Nicholas Sheran Community School. Bienvenue!

I am very excited to continue my journey as principal of École Nichols Sheran school in it's new dual track school environment. After living in this community for the past 20 year, I finally got the opportunity to work with the staff, parents and youth in this westside community. I have spent my entire teaching career working with French as Second Language or French Immersion in dual track school environments. I am pleased to be part of this great Egnlish and French community. My teaching experience spans over the past 30 years. All my teaching years have been with the Lethbridge School Division.

I began my teaching career at École Agnes Davidson School as a grade 5 French Immersion teacher then moved to Winston Churchill High School to focus on teaching French as a Second Language. My journey then moved me to Gilbert Paterson Junior High where I began my administrative career as vice principal. I later moved back to École Agnes Davidson as principal. I then returned to Gilbert Paterson for a 9 year journey as middle school principal. A change three years ago brought me to the west side, my own neighbourhood, to work with the Nicholas Sheran community.

Having grown up out east in Ontario and Quebec, I am fully bilingual and have made the French language and culture a huge part of my work and family life. I am a true Albertan as I have made Alberta my home for the past 40 years.
