2024/25 KinderCare Program Info
Our school is excited to be one of two schools in our division that will pilot a KinderCare program for the 2024/2025 school year (the other school is Senator Buchanan in north Lethbridge).
You will find a lot of information in the two files above. Please have a read through those documents if you have a child starting kindergarten this fall.
At the moment we can only offer KinderCare pre-registration for families that are currently living in the boundary for our school - this is to ensure we have spaces available for Nicholas Sheran families.
Please read the documents attached, but also know:
- KinderCare would run "bell time to bell time" which means it is an all day option for families to consider
- There is a cost for the program (see attached)
- Students who qualify for school bus transportation will have access to ride the bus every school day
- We will only be offering AM and PM kindergarten classes next year (not full-day alternating)
- Pre-registration is currently open and will close on May 17, 2024; following that, families will be contacted directly to confirm placement
Please share this information with any friends or family members you know live in the Nicholas Sheran boundary and who have children registered for kindergarten this fall. If you know someone who has delayed registering for kindergarten due to childcare concerns, they might also benefit from having this information, too!
