I am excited to be back at École Nicholas Sheran School with this amazing staff for my second year of teaching!
Growing up in the French Immersion program in Airdrie, AB, I am pleased to have the opportunity to teach students music in both English and French. In 2011 I moved to Lethbridge to pursue musical studies at the University of Lethbridge, where I completed my Bachelor of Music in saxophone performance. I have called Lethbridge home ever since, as I also completed my Bachelor of Education at the U of L in December of 2015 and have been working as a teacher in Lethbridge ever since.
Here at Nicholas Sheran we offer a variety of musical opportunities for students to grow as musicians. This year, the following ensembles will be offered:
Jr. Choir (Grades 1 & 2): After school on Wednesdays from 3:35 - 4:15
Sr. Choir (Grades 3 & 4 & 5): After school on Tuesdays from 3:35 – 4:30
Handbells (limited number of Grade 4 & 5 students): After school on Thursdays from 3:35 – 4:15
Information regarding these groups will be posted outside the music room, including start dates and how your student can join.
Outside of school, I enjoy reading, singing, teaching saxophone, biking, hiking, and playing board games. This past summer my wife, who is also a teacher with the district, and I were married and we spent 10 days in Mexico exploring and relaxing.
Please do not ever hesitate to send me an email with a question or stop by to say hello!
