Nicholas Sheran School proudly houses Nikki's Den, designed to support students with diverse abilities within an inclusive environment. This District Program provides opportunities for students with multiple physical, sensory, medical, cognitive and behavioural challenges to receive individualized programming in a specialized learning environment.
Every student is unique, with differing strengths and challenges. In the Lethbridge School District we focus on helping every child learn. We emphasize inclusive learning and we work to ensure that students are physically included and emotionally connected to all aspects of the school experience.
Skill Development is a program that supports elementary students who have significant delays in most or all developmental areas. The program is staffed by a teacher and a number of educational assistants, based on student enrollment. Programming facilitates the development of essential skills in a variety of settings such as individual, small group, classroom, school-wide and community.
